…longtime photographer, friend to all dogs, and mom to 2 Italian Greyhounds who think anything below 78° is sweater weather and 1 Bernese Mountain Dog who loves all the elements.
My background as a positive-reinforcement-based dog trainer means I can dog-whisper even the most willful pups. So if your four-legged loves walk on the wild side and let’s be honest, most of ’em do-don’t worry! You’ll still get great photos.

“But my dog isn’t well-behaved”
Truly, it’s not a problem!
It’s a common concem among pet-parents, but I promise you, I haven’t yet met a dog I couldn’t photograph.
For one thing, my photographic style leans toward the candid, let-things-unfold-as-they-will side of the spectrum. So if your pup wants to run and jump and spin and dig, I’ll dogument him being his most authentic self. And when he stops for a breather, it takes me just 1/800th of a second to snap that perfect portrait.
But you’ll also be amazed what a pocket full of dried liver and a background in dog training can accomplish. Your pup might surprise you with how cooperative he’s willing to be!
Lastly-and you wouldn’t know it from my portfolio-but I often photograph dogs on leash and then Photoshop out the evidence. It’s a great option if your pup is a flight risk, or if he needs a little extra guidance to stand in front of the perfect portrait backdrop.

What kind of pets do you photograph?
I’m primarily a dog photographer, though I sometimes photograph horses. Your other furry, feathered, or finned friends are welcome as well—I’m always up for a new challenge!
So you photograph cats?
Wellllll, no. No cats. There’s not enough Benadryl in the greater Fargo area to deal with the aftermath. I’m sorry!
How many pets do you photograph at once?
Your session fee includes one pet, but you’re welcome to add additional critters at $25 each.
Am I able to be in the photos with my pet(s)?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to be in some of the photos. I love capturing your relationship, and have a variety of flattering pose ideas at my fintertips.
Should I bring my own treats?
I’m well-stocked with delicious treats, but please do bring a stash if your pup has any dietary restrictions. And be sure to bring the good treats—the ones they really go bonkers for!
Can I get the digital files?
Yes! Your package includes 10 high-resolution digital files that will look gorgeous when printed. You can purchase additional images for $100 per photo, or get the ENTIRE gallery for an additional $500!
How do I access my images?
You’ll receive all your images via a private online gallery where you can download your photos, share them, and even order your prints.
Do I need to print through you, or can I print elsewhere?
For the highest-quality prints, order directly through your private online gallery. There, you’ll have access to a top-notch print lab available only to professional photographers. You can certainly print elsewhere, but I can’t guarantee color fidelity or print quality.
How quickly will I get my photos after our session?
You’ll have your images within 6 weeks of our shoot—and often much sooner. I love sharing sneak peeks on social media right away, so be on the lookout for that!
What if I don't like any of my photos?!
While I’ve never had that happen, I do want you to feel totally confident about booking your session. That’s why you’re covered by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not delighted with your images, we’ll either schedule a re-shoot or I’ll refund your session fee. It’s just that simple.
Okay, so how do I save my photography date with you?
Once we’ve chatted and see that we’re a great fit, I’ll email you a digital contract and invoice. Once you’ve signed the contract and paid a 50% non-refundable retainer, the date is officially YOURS!
