Hey there!

I’m Ashley Hahn.

I’m a photographer, digital marketer, and electrical engineer by training, adrenaline junkie by day, and Netflix addict by night. 

Cameras have long been a part of my life. In college, a 35mm Canon Rebel landed in my hands for a darkroom-based photography class. That semester kicked off a creative love affair that, to this day, continues to grow (along with my camera and lens collection—more closet space, please!).

Over ten years ago, I said “I do” on a Montana mountaintop after a whirlwind week of celebration. Two kiddos later, and the importance of family is something I feel deep in the marrow of my bones. That longing you have to document the chubby baby thighs, the wobbly-toothed smiles, the adorably maddening eye-rolls of your mercurial tween? I get it.   

In our family, my husband Jeff and I have a pretty sweet deal: Every time he gets a new race car, I bring home another dog. But really, we’re just enabling each other—truth is, we both adore racing cars and rescuing pups. (And for anyone keeping score, we’re currently at 2 Italian Greyhounds and 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs. The cars come and go, but the foster “fails” are keepers!)

You know what else lights me up? 

Watching your family—both human and canine—grow and evolve over the years. Getting to know my clients is a joy, and telling your stories through photography is something I have a whole lotta gratitude for. You count on me to capture the emotion and raw beauty of your relationships, and I don’t take that trust for granted.     

A native North Dakotan, I’m a believer that small-town livin’ and upscale deliverin’ can absolutely go hand in hand. And, that you deserve nothing less than exceptional service.
