Frequently Asked Questions
What kind of pets will you photograph?
I’m primarily a dog photographer, but will happily photograph your horse or other furry, feathered and finned friends. I’m sorry to say, severe allergies prevent me from photographing cats.
Am I able to be in the photos with my pet(s)?
Absolutely—I wholeheartedly encourage you to join your pet for some of the images. Capturing your relationship right now is especially meaningful, and I have a variety of flattering pose ideas at my fingertips.
Can my other pet(s) be in the photos?
Your session fee includes one pet, but you’re welcome to add additional critters at $25 each.
Do I need to supply my own treats?
I’m well-stocked with delicious treats, but if your pup has any dietary restrictions, please do have something ready. And be sure they’re the good treats—this is no time to hold back!
Can I get the digital files?
But of course. Your package includes 10 high-resolution digital files that will look gorgeous when printed, along with a lovely digital watercolor. You can purchase additional images for $100 per photo, or get the entire gallery for an additional $500.
How do I access my images?
You’ll receive all your images via a private online gallery where you can download your photos, share them, and even order your prints.
Do I need to print through you, or can I print elsewhere?
For the highest-quality prints, order directly through your private online gallery. There, you’ll have access to a top-notch print lab available only to professional photographers. You can certainly print elsewhere, but I can’t guarantee color fidelity or print quality.
How quickly will I get my photos after our session?
You’ll have your images within 6 weeks of our shoot—and often much sooner. I may share a sneak-peek on social media right away, with your permission, so be on the lookout for that.
What if I don't like any of my photos?!
While I’ve never had that happen, I do want you to feel totally confident about booking your session. That’s why you’re covered by a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not delighted with your images, we’ll either schedule a re-shoot, if possible, or I’ll refund your session fee. It’s just that simple.
Okay, so how do I book my photography date with you?
Once we’ve chatted and made sure we’re a good fit, I’ll email you a digital contract and invoice. As soon as you’ve signed the contract and paid a 50% non-refundable retainer, the date is officially yours.
